In order for glass to be considered of OE grade it must utilize a technique called first surface coating. The Wave Mirror Head has a totally new styling that provides for a better look and better performance. It features an increased overall viewing size for better functionality. The large mirror face combined with the convex design provides for wide angle viewing that is perfect for wakeboarding. The lightweight design of the mirror head minimizes vibration and bracket wear. The chrome trim features cowling to reduce sun glare and increase safety. This mirror head is black with chrome trim, but is also available in full chrome part number 01507, full black part number 01407, or chrome with black trim part number 04877. The bracket is made from aluminum and has a black textured finish. It features quick and easy clamp-on mounting, which means no holes to drill. This mirror is full black, but is also available in chrome part number 04875. Mirror head exceeds Alabama's 78 square inch law. CIPA's Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass and Temperature provides the perfect solution to annoying headlight glare at night. Sensors indicate when bright lights are used and dim the mirror glass for comfort and safety. The Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror also offers a disable button for when dimming is unwanted. Additional features include a digital compass and temperature readout. The compass features a bright LED display, and is self-calibrating. The temperature feature displays outside ambient temperature, and can be programmed to display in Fahrenheit or Celsius. First time installations will require routing a power and sensor wire. Vehicles with an existing auto dimming mirror and a 7 pin connector can plug directly in with no fuss. Otherwise, the wires can be tapped using the wire tap provided. Mirror is 10 inches long by 2.5 inches tall, and is a wedge base mounting mirror. Mirror glass is 9.25 X 2.125. This kit includes a mirror, 6.5 ft power wire harness, wire tap, 9 wire ties, temperature sensor, 14 ft temperature sensor wire harness, operation card, wedge button, and an installation guide. Mirror mounting epoxy is not included.
